Qualification
TGT: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45% marks in the relevant subject in which the selection is to be made (studied in all the three years) from an institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government or University Grants Commission. Provided that for the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks. Also B.Ed from recognized training institute. OR B.Ed by the National Council for Teacher Education. degree declared equivalent to For physical teachers, a bachelor’s degree in arts, science or commerce with at least 45 percent marks from a university recognized by the state government or the central government will be mandatory. But for the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks will be mandatory.
