Preschool Teacher: Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognized board with at least 45% marks in accordance with National Council for Teachers Education (Form of application pplication fi for recognition, iti the #me limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards. for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 . Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme D.E.C.Ed.) of duration of not less than one years, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Ys Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ELEd.). who has acquired the qualification of Diploma in Elementary Education (by: whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ELEd.) from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a Preschool teacher provided the person appointed as a preschool teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Nursery Teacher – Education/ Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education. Programme recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as pre-school teacher”.
